I use one of their tool room lathes a bit and find it less than desirable at times. I dont have any experience with the harbor freight machines, but if its like anything else i have gotten from them its not worth the time to set it up.

Seconding this, though I haven''t used one. Those look like they put on a bad mill on a reasonable lathe. Which is far better than compromising on both, or overpaying for a mediocre mill.
