I have four types of belt sanders, one 6"x48" Craftsman, one 1"x42" Delta, one 3/4"x21" air sander, one 3"x24" Rockwell belt sander, for each of which I have purchased belts. If one prepares the belt by skiving both end (as I have stated before on this forum) with a skive at least 2 inches long and exactly the same angle and thickness on each end, clean the skive surfaces with lacquer thinner before apply the glue, the belt will stay on for years.
